✨ Show why an AI-Bot suggestion is unavailable - #886
Support AI-Bot-Skipped metadata, including skip_description and skip_reason.
Show a clickable, keyboard-accessible warning with the reason and available confidence, data quality, and tools used.
Display warnings across title, description, components, impact, CVSS, CWE, statement, and mitigation, including when AI generation is disabled.
Hide obsolete warnings when later metadata supersedes the skip; prioritize newly applied suggestion details.
Add unit and rendered-form integration coverage for field mappings, reason fallbacks, warning precedence, keyboard interaction, and safe text rendering.
Considerations:
Requires an AI-Bot-Skipped entry in the field’s aegis_meta; missing suggestions alone do not produce a warning.
Uses skip_description, falling back to skip_reason or a generic unavailable message.
Targeted tests, project type checking, ESLint, and stylelint passed.
Design choice favoring click toggle rather than tooltip for copying text (discarded suggestions).
This review ran on the open-source allowance, not this organization's plan, because the pull request author doesn't have an assigned seat. Waiting won't change this — ask an organization admin to assign them a seat, or add seats in Billing if every seat is already assigned, then retry.
Fields with skipped AI suggestions now show a warning with the recorded reason, discarded suggestion, and available metadata—even when AI suggestions are disabled.
Warnings appear across supported fields and distinguish skipped proposals from accepted AI-generated suggestions. They can be opened by click or keyboard, and details can be copied.
Bug Fixes
Warnings update or disappear when newer field activity replaces the skipped suggestion, while accepted-suggestion information and feedback remain available.
Warning details display as text with line breaks preserved.
The change adds AI-Bot-Skipped metadata and field-specific tooltip generation. Aegis controls display skip warnings, including when AI suggestions are disabled, and form components show those controls when matching skip metadata exists.

Only if the field content had a rejection reason unrelated to the metrics. The rejection reason is populated programmatically. Even though it is redundant in this case and in any related to the intended scope PR, it may be a benefit to have the redundant data. I noticed that trying to copy the text closes the box, so I will fix that.
